No account, no server
There is nothing to sign up for. Your accounts, records and budgets are written to your device's own storage — we have no copy of them.
A free expense tracker and budgeting app that works entirely on your phone. Record spending in seconds, set limits that actually hold, and see the whole picture across every account and currency you use.
Free · No ads · No account · Works offline
Add income and expenses in a couple of taps. Records are grouped by date with a running daily total, so a month of spending reads like a story rather than a spreadsheet.
Set a monthly limit overall and per category. Progress bars fill as you spend and turn red the moment a category goes over — with the exact percentage, not a vague warning.
A donut chart of your top five spending categories, plus a full breakdown by category and a separate balance view — so "where did it all go?" takes one glance to answer.
Record anything that repeats — rent, streaming, salary — once, and Bear Wallet keeps the schedule. Each planned payment carries a full history of what was paid and when.
Keep accounts in different currencies side by side and convert between them with up-to-date rates. Pick your main currency and number format when you first open the app — and change your mind later.
Most finance apps ask you to hand over your data first and trust them second. Bear Wallet skips the first step.

No — and that is deliberate. Keeping data on-device means there is no server of ours to breach, but it also means losing or resetting your phone loses your records. Treat your device backup as your wallet backup.
Clear the data from within the app, or uninstall Bear Wallet. Because nothing is stored on our side, uninstalling removes it completely. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
